This weekend, I not only had the chance to attend the Dr Pepper Photo Op in NYC, but I also visited Norfolk, CT where I stayed in this incredible woodland cabin with my brother. Thankfully, the leaves turn a little earlier up there, so I wasn't too early to see some gorgeous foliage.
This was taken at the Twin Lakes, where we met some interesting people and had a super basic, yet delicious, lunch. I couldn't help but snap some photos of these trees before I climbed them.
Where are you now? Well, you're DA staff so must be in CA? I'm in Indiana. Good foliage colors here. I grew up in MD, and we used to hold a "Colorfest" every year. I miss that. And In WV, I lived in the mountains for a bit. The mountains of color was a vision!
Yeah, Los Angeles now, but I grew up in Ohio. That sounds amazing! I remember driving through PA during the fall and how gorgeous the hills were. I imagine the mountains must have been even more breathtaking.
