Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the truly amazing and inspiring response we've received for the Holiday Card Project! The cards continue to arrive at deviantART headquarters in a steady stream, day after day. We've received over 2,000 cards, and have already started distributing them to hospitals around the world.

With so many cards, there's a chance we'll be able to spread the holiday cheer to even more hospitals than originally anticipated -- and that's where you come in. We're making a call for volunteers, just like you, to distribute Holiday Card Project cards to your local hospitals!

We're looking for responsible, trustworthy deviants who are up to the task. Please only express interest if you're willing to do some legwork! Helping with this project would include:

:bulletgreen: Contacting your local hospitals to see if they can accept cards/how many cards they can accept

:bulletgreen: Accepting a box of cards sent from us (the package would likely arrive around December 20th)

:bulletgreen: Delivering them to the hospital (before December 25th)

:bulletgreen: Taking photos delivering the cards or with the patients, if possible

:star: If you're interested and willing to help, let us know in the comments below! Once you have a hospital that's willing to accept a donation of cards, send a note to $Ayame-Kenoshi with:

1.  The name/address of the hospital
2.  Why you selected this hospital
3.  The name of your contact at the hospital
4.  How many cards the hospital can accept
5.  Your full name and address
6.  Any restrictions the hospital may have expressed (only "happy holiday" cards, no "feel better soon" cards, etc.)

Hospitals will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Major thanks to our current Holiday Card Project ambassadors `cmptrwhz, `Nyiana-Sama, ^Katara-Alchemist, and ^Astralseed!

:holly: Do you have a local hospital that would accept a donation of holiday cards? Are you a reliable deviant who wants to spread some holiday cheer? We're looking for your help to make the 2012 Holiday Card Project the most successful yet!

:la: Mine have been dropped off to UMass Medical Center. They were very excited about the cards, so many of them were just jaw dropping awesome. I'm sure there will be some very happy patients.

Ooh!
..time.
Is time an issue here though? (Time for postage) - If not I could ask around and see whether the hospital would be cool with it + ppl would like to volunteer..

Pardon me but I really want to help out. Is there any other way I can help, because unfortunately I wouldn't be able to hand out the cards.

I would have loved to help out! unfortunately I am living overseas in Turkey currently. Though if there're any deviants who live near Children's Hospital in Boston MA? Because if so I'd be eternally grateful you'd see if you could see about sending cards there, cause honestly I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for them.

I live in Massachusetts, but I'm distributing to UMass in Worcester. As much as I would have loved to give cards to children's hospital, its a bit too far for me to go, especially on short notice like this. :faint: UMass has been difficult enough to deal with.

:) Maybe if I have the opportunity in future years, I will look into contacting children's hospital. It was one of the hospital's on my radar.
