Happy Thursday, Premium Members! It's already September, and the year will be coming to a close before you know it!

This week, we want to remind you that we're still accepting entries for the Mother Nature art creation contest

What comes to your mind when you think about Mother Nature? Do you think of green forests brimming with exotic wildlife? Or bulldozers and factories polluting our planet? Perhaps you envision Mother Nature as an actual person, guiding her creation along. Whatever it is, we want to see it!

All entries should be submitted to the Mother Nature Gallery folder. Remember, only one entry will be considered per person, so make it your best! The deadline for entries is Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 11:59 PM Los Angeles, CA, time. All the details are here.

While we wait for more entries to pile in, we want to know: If you could live in any time period and anywhere in the world, what would you choose?

For me, I would choose 1800s America. Brand new country, awesome wigs, and Alexander Hamilton. Doesn't get much better than that! :dummy:

Let us know what you think in the comments below!

I have to admit that I would need to cheah on this question. So to say I would want to live in the future where mankind hopefully managed to live in peace witheach other as well as with nature.... and have developed time machines so that I am able to see various times from history. I would love to live in Samurai Japan and see the Shinsengumi myself, I want to experience the renassaince, see the Maya and Inca (before civil war period in 16th century) and so many other cultures and long lost civilisations.

But... I really don't think I want to actually "live" in a different period of time. For once... hasn't been too easy for women mostof the time in most places of the world. And if I could remember the developments in technology, medicine and all other aspects of life, I guess I'd really miss a lot of them.
Also...I don't know. It somehow seems so much more interesting to me to see and learn from or experience those world- and art-changing periodes of time with todays knowledge and from todays point of view. Just living there with no knowledge of the "now" would be.... well, normal, daily life and I couldn't appreciate all those changes.
Maybe...
As I said, it seems like cheating and also, possible boring.
And most of all it's kinda avoiding the difficult choice, because I WANT IT ALL XD
