Never seen it. Don't care to.
I love what I have
.... another one about Australia hehe ^^'
We laugh; the bikes come alive
Sweet summer lives here
Hot down here in Australia
Just to be disappointed.
They're not here this year.
Sad but true.
I miss the times when we went camping for Christmas with the 'clan' (basically our group made up of four or so families, plus other friends... That hasn't happened in a while, since my friend's auntie passed away and we all started buying our own blocks of land.
Really sad actually, since these are one of the only times I get to see some of my closest friends. We have to keep in touch via email and calls a lot...
dreaming of Christmas presents
Is it morning yet?
- - - - -
Filled with excitement,
I just a heard a thump downstairs
Could it be Santa?
Parties and Presents Galore!
Peace and Joy and Love
Gathered family
Giving and kindness abound
December's true joys
Trees, Santa wearing short pants
Desert Christmas Cheer
Catching snowflakes on my tongue
Irresistible
against the cold, a promise
of a different heat
black sky and cold wind
are to the hearth, as spices
are to hot cider
gone are the shadows
when every corner is lit
by love and good cheer
(or, alternatively)
where are the shadows
when love and good cheer bring light
to every corner
Twice for the fresh air, and thrice
For December cheer.
