Actually... My school did a report on that, and it turns out that their calendar didn't really stop. Since it was done in a cirlce, they couldn't actually physically continue it or else they'd get a weird spiral. So where it stopped was actually where it was supposed to roll over into another year. So really, we should be having big celebrations to welcome a new year tomorrow!
Least, that's what my school's newspaper said. I didn't actually go check it out for myself because I really didn't care to.
Since my country is before all other countries (in terms of time zones), I will let you guys all know if anything happens so that you can be prepared.
