Entry must be received by 11:59:59 PM (PT - Los Angeles, CA, USA) on March 14, 2013 and must be submitted to the Contest gallery.
- The completed entry ("Work") may originate in any visual medium but must be submitted at the Contest Site as a single JPG or PNG file;
- The Work:
- must be at least 3000 pixels in the shortest length;
- should be suitable to be adapted for use in a print;
- may NOT be recognizable as the actor Angelina Jolie or any other recognizable actor;
- must be the Entrant's original work made for the Contest and may not use stock materials from others although licensed brushes and textures are acceptable as well as original assets from the Entrant's own work;
- may reference but not actually duplicate visual materials provided in the Asset Pack.
- Membership to www.deviantart.com (the "Contest Site") is required to enter the contest. Membership to www.deviantart.com is free;
- Other requirements and restrictions apply, please read the Official Rules carefully.
25 Semi-Finalists will be selected by full-time deviantART Staff. From the Semi-Finalists, the final three Winners will be selected by Square Enix's Senior Art Director Brian Horton.
All entries will be judged on the following criteria:
- Creative treatment of the new Lara Croft character.
- Overall Impact of the Work.
- Technical Skill.
- Appropriateness for use on a print.
