The real reason behind this is that, well, how to put this... my cat has needs during night time and because she loves me so much (actually a loving cat, not the bossy type one) she sleeps with me, although she has the whole apartment at her disposal}

What I prefer is moot as if I leave the door open I will be sleeping with 6 cats either on top of me or under the covers. I'd keep the door closed either way (I prefer it to be really dark and quiet in my room), but especially now with all the kitties.
